I have pride!

I have pride in the God that saved my soul,

I am unashamed and I don’t hide

Everything I have is because of Him, yes He is the G.O.A.T.

My God has brought me over mountains that are high and across rivers that are wide.

In Genesis a rainbow was God’s Promise,

Now though, there is a misconception about what it means,

I’ve seen one in the sky for three weeks, 21 days, so I’ll pay homage,

I pay homage because every day is another day you’ve brought the world to life with sunlight beams.

Oh my God! I have pride,

I know it comes before the fall,

but how can I not be proud of the God whose been on my side,

The same God who saved me at 15, then again at 33 when I stumbled into satan’s thrall.

Yes, I have pride!

My pride is in the fact that Jesus will come again at the end of the age,

I’m ecstatic that I have the Holy Spirit inside,

I have joy that God has called me to use my voice to let the world know that I’ve been saved!

I have pride,

That God wants to use my story, my testimony

Not for storytelling’s sake but to showcase His power and His glory,

I’m proud that The Lord can use me how He sees fit.

If I could I’d shout it from the mountain tops!

That Jesus made me whole!

That Jesus gave me a place to belong,

So for Him,

I have pride.
