How long can I ignore the message you’ve given me

No longer can I pretend that this is a soliloquy,

These words you put forth through me will be heard

They have to be written down because I’m no good at spoken word

I had… no, I have the fire burning in me that can be seen for miles

I go through the scripture like my wife in the shopping aisles

Thoroughly going through everything I come across, I don’t want to miss a thing

I’ve been given a dream of VICTORY!! I want us all to win, win, WIN!!!

I fight against the ways of the world, though I don’t always win the battle the war is already won

Satan tries and tries to get me to divert from the dream with double meanings maybe that’s why snakes have a split tongue

This flesh of mine is still weak but my spirit contends to be in heavenly places

I dream of a time when I smile as look upon our triune God’s faces

I’ve had dreams since I was a youth come to fruition when I gave in to you, Lord

how can I not give you your due Father, you continue to bless us with things we can’t afford:

the breath we breathe, the water we drink, the thoughts we think everything is yours.

You had big dreams for us and time after time we mess it up

You give us chance after chance because you are unconditional Love

You have a dream so strong you gave up your son so we could have new life

I will pray for your love, protection, mercy, and guidance every night

My struggles, pains, battles, wins, and losses I lay at your feet

Because everything you’ve given to me is beyond what I could’ve dreamed.

Yes, I praise the Lord for everything especially Dreams.

They just keep coming true my Dreams, Dreams, Dreams!
