In shadows deep, where truth does hide,

A soul confronts its darker side.

With a trembling heart and a heavy sigh,

It’s time to face the deeds gone awry.

Through whispered prayers and tear-stained eyes,

The weight of guilt begins to rise.

No longer will the lies be able to deceive,

For in confession before God, the soul finds reprieve.

To own up to one’s sin, is truly a daunting task,

Yet freedom lies where the spirit of courage basks.

In humble steps and acknowledgement , redemption’s begun,

For true repentance we hope to find, when it’s all said and done.

No longer held by the chains of past misdeeds,

As grace unfolds, the spirit feeds.

With open heart and conscience clear,

A new path waits, devoid of fear.

So let us own our faults and flaws,

And rise above our self-made laws.

For in humility and prayer, we find release,

And in owning up to sin, and calling out to Jesus, we find peace.

Guilt, shame, and fear is the enemies song of one chord, but he and his tune are out of time

‭For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

AMEN!
